Standard guest suites at the Embassy Suites-Outdoor World are available at a special conference group rate of $159 per night, single or double occupancy; $169 for triple and $179 for quad occupancy; plus applicable taxes.
These rooms are large and comfortable, and the special suite rate includes a full cooked-to-order breakfast every morning as well as a “Happy Hour” reception every evening between 5 and 7 pm.
Check-in time is 4:00 P.M. Checkout time is 12:00 Noon.
To reserve your room, call 972-724-2600, and specify “Spiral Dynamics Conference” to receive the special group rate.
CUT-OFF DATE FOR THIS SPECIAL ROOM RATE: April 28, 2008.
Reservations after this date will be subject to prevailing hotel rates.
We recommend the above accommodations in the Embassy Suites Outdoor World over other less expensive options in the area. When comparing the large suites which pleasantly occupy up to 4 people, the scrumptious hot breakfast and evening reception included in the rate, as well as the no-transport-needed convenience, the special conference room rate is definitely worth it.
However, here are some alternative lodging options in the vicinity:
- The Hilton DFW Lakes Hotel, next to the Embassy Suites. Tel. 817-481-8444,
or fax 817-481-3146 - The Hampton Inn & Suites, tel. 972-471-5000
- AmeriSuites Hotel, tel. 972-691-1199, next to the Hilton. AmeriSuites may be the best alternative option price-wise, as its room rates include breakfast.
Also see www.amerisuites.com.
All three options above are “within walking distance” of the Embassy Suites. Please remember, though, that Dallas-Fort Worth wrote the book on urban sprawl... which gives relative meaning to “walking distance.” Do check with the alternative lodging of your choice to make sure it's right for you.
The Embassy Suites-Outdoor World is situated a short taxicab-ride (5-10 minutes, depending on traffic) from the airport. The hotel also operates a regular airport shuttle; enquiries tel. 972-724-2600 or embassysuitesdfw@jqh.com.
Casual and comfortable.
There are some interesting family vacation and leisure destinations in the Dallas-Arlington-Fort Worth area, including Six Flags Over Texas, Waterworld, as well as many historic sites in Fort Worth.
